This for our Morgan in the Morgan Christmas Home Invasion Family
On Saturday December 19th, with your help, we will be delivering Christmas to this family who is in need! Here is the email we received regarding this family.
The family I write to you about involves a Mother with multiple children including children that she has custody of from her extended family. Overall, she has always been able to provide for the family, however this past year has been a struggle. She was out of work for months due to injury without pay. Because of the unforeseen piling of medical bills, she has certainly struggled to take care of her rent and daily needs for the family. She tried to get assistance through different organizations and was turned down for having no income. I helped her with what I could give, but it wasn’t enough. She is the kind of person that would give you the shirt off her back and the shoes off her feet. The good news is that she finally returned back to work, but multiple checks were garnished. She even sold items out of her home just to pay for food on the table and heat in the house for her family. She also adopted a few rescue dogs before all of this happened, and she is afraid that she will not only have to give them away, but also have to have that conversation with her kids.
She never asks for anything, so I know that this will be a big surprise for her.
On top of everything, a death in the family has also crumbled her world around her. Despite a broken heart and feeling like she has little hope, she has tried to stay strong for her kids. She has always been the backbone and glue to hold everyone else together. Sometimes you just need to let go and take time for yourself, but she doesn’t know how to do so. She is the most caring, loving person I think I have ever met and she deserves to have someone do something special for her for once. I’m tired of seeing her try to put on a happy face. THIS is the Christmas that we all want to see pure joy in her entire family’s eyes thanks to all of you.
