Hi, my name is David, and I'm fundraising for the kids in my Colombian hometown of Lorica. For years, I've been committed to bringing joy to these children, inspired by the incredible example set by my grandmother. She was the most important person in my life, always giving selflessly to others, even when she had little herself. Her kindness and determination shaped who I am today, and I honor her memory by continuing her tradition of caring for our community.
Lorica is a small town in northern Colombia, where many families struggle due to government neglect and ongoing poverty. I came to the United States in 2016 with big dreams and hope, but my heart has always remained with the children of Lorica. Each year, my family and I use our own resources to organize small charity events, bringing a little joy to the children on special occasions like Halloween and Christmas. Last year, thanks to generous donors, we were able to provide 120 presents to children and food baskets to 50 families, making the holiday season brighter for so many.
This year, the need is even greater, and I am reaching out for your help. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward purchasing gifts for the children of Lorica. Your support will help us create unforgettable memories and show these kids that they are not forgotten. Thank you for listening to my story and for considering a donation. I promise to share photos so you can see the joy your generosity brings to these wonderful children.
