This Christmas, we are raising funds to provide gifts and food for over 300 children in vulnerable communities in Bogotá.

My name is Alejandra, and this campaign begins with my own journey.

In 2023, I travelled to Australia with the dream of learning English, discovering a new culture, and living an experience that would change my life forever. Australia gave me far more than I ever expected.

During my time there, I met incredible people from many backgrounds — the Latin community, Australians, and people from Asian communities — who showed me something truly powerful: how to give without expecting anything in return, how to always see the best in others, and how generosity can be a way of life.

Being so far from home taught me one of the most important lessons of my life: to deeply value my country, my roots, and my people.

When I returned to Colombia, I knew I wanted to turn everything I had received into action.

That is when I joined Messengers of Love, a volunteer project that for more than 6 years has been dedicated to bringing joy, dignity, and hope to children living in vulnerable situations.

We started in Bogotá, my hometown, reaching children and families in communities such as Bosa, San Cristóbal, and surrounding areas.

But my dream goes much further.

✨ My dream is to reach every corner of Colombia, beginning by bringing warmth, joy, and love to children during the Christmas season — a time that should belong to every child, no matter where they were born.

Our Mission This Christmas

This year, our mission is to provide Christmas gifts and food support to more than 300 children in vulnerable communities in Bogotá, including children with disabilities and families facing significant economic challenges.

For many of these families, Christmas is not about celebration, but survival.

A small gift and a shared meal can become a powerful reminder that they are seen, valued, and loved.
