Donations from April 2023 will be going towards charity work in Mumbai to support underprivileged kids in shelters and meal distributions to the homeless.
April 2023 Update:
Similar to 2022, I am going to India and will arrange a distribution to the underprivileged. Last year, I worked with a number of shelters who support young children/adults and distributed meals to the homeless. Any donations received will go towards the meals / essentials purchased to support registered NGOs and shelters.
Xmas 2022 Distribution Update:
Christmas 2022: For the second year running, we had a successful charity distribution event to help those in need. Last year we had 60 volunteers and donors, this year we had over 125! From a small initiative of a few people leading, to this level of support in 12 months is unbelievable.
While we are blessed with warmth, shelter and our families, an amazing team from all different backgrounds, social groups and professional networks coming together to make a difference in the lives of others is truly inspirational.
As you will note from the video below, there is a powerful element in giving a gift and it was so encouraging to see how many volunteers from last year were involved, in addition to new faces. The domino impact this has had is beyond expectation.
We raised over £4000, distributed approx. 250 individually wrapped Christmas gifts with winter essentials, over 225 food bags with hot meals, dog treats and donations to several organisations.
A brilliant team effort!
The most rewarding part was bringing all these different people together to support one cause; one common goal. A big thank you to everyone for being a part of the team - whether it was through donations or volunteering - thank you. YOU made a difference!
