Update: We are so grateful To have hit our initial goal for all of the donations. We are so happy that we are going to be able to give the Perez family an amazing Christmas. We would like to keep the ball rolling and continue to raise money to help other local families in need, as there are still so many others that could use our help. Meet the Perez family. This wonderful, hardworking, deserving family is in need this holiday season in order to provide Christmas to their amazing five children, Adrian (13), Yeiliz (10), Lily (9), Yahmai (8), and Yarian (7). The parents, Inelise and Luis, work extremely hard to provide for their children, three of whom have special needs. Yeliez and Yahmai both suffer from Spina Bifida and have endured several surgeries throughout their lives. Their condition requires a great deal of care from their parents as well as expensive equipment. The cost between surgeries and medical equipment adds up. Yarian suffers from autism and also requires a great deal of care. Because of the care her children require, Inelise is unable to work outside of the home, further stretching the family’s financial resources. She also sacrifices her own well-being as she would do anything and everything for her children to ensure their health and happiness. Luis works extremely hard to provide for his family but can only do so much. These wonderful people are extremely generous and would help anyone at anytime, sacrificing the shirts off their backs for anyone in need. Recently, Inelise’s father passed away, leaving the family with the financial burden of the funeral. This unexpected and heavy expense has made it impossible for the Perez’s to provide the Christmas that their wonderful, sweet, and happy children deserve.
