My name is Francesca, and I am a volunteer from Italy working with vulnerable children and families in Kibera slum Kenya.

One of the largest informal settlements in Africa.

This Christmas, I would like to raise funds to support families who are facing extremely difficult living conditions.

•Life in Kibera

Kibera is a community full of strength and resilience, but daily life here is incredibly challenging.

Most families live in small tin houses, often just one room shared by the entire family.

There is no running water, limited electricity, and very few opportunities for stable employment.

Many parents survive on small casual jobs, earning barely enough to feed their children.

During the Christmas season, life becomes even harder:

Food prices rise

Children no longer receive school meals

Many families go to bed hungry

Basic necessities like soap become unaffordable

For most households, Christmas is not a time of celebration it is a time of struggle.

What the Christmas Food Package Includes:

I am raising funds to provide essential food packages to families who need it the most. Each package will include:

-Maize flour

-Wheat flour

-Rice

-Beans

-Soap

These basic items help a family prepare meals and maintain hygiene during the holiday season.

Cost: $40 per Family

A donation of $40 provides a complete Christmas package for one family in Kibera slum Kenya.
