We know it is only the middle of September, but for us and our partners, Christmas is already nearly here. ❤️

Why? Because helping people properly takes planning, organising, collecting, shopping, cooking and a lot of people working together.

This Christmas, Lumi Place and our partners want to do something very special again.

We want to provide a proper Christmas dinner for people and families who simply cannot afford one.

But we also want to remember those who may spend Christmas Day looking after the rest of us. Ambulance crews, firefighters, police officers, hospital staff and others serving our community while many of us are at home with our families.

And this year we are delighted to be doing it in partnership with Byrne Bath in Rock Ferry, who will be providing Christmas Breakfast. ❤️

So while Byrne Bath helps make sure people can start Christmas Day with a proper breakfast, Lumi Place will be working to make sure Christmas dinner reaches those who need it most.

Our Lumi Place Christmas Dinner Fund starts now.

We are asking local residents, businesses and organisations to help us make it happen. You can support us with a financial donation, food, ingredients, vouchers, supplies or simply by sharing this appeal with somebody who may be able to help.

A few pounds may not feel like much, but when a whole community joins together, a few pounds becomes Christmas dinner for someone who thought they would have nothing.

We have a few months to make this BIG.

Not glamorous. Not complicated. Just people helping people.
