I’m organizing a casual Christmas dinner and hangout in Los Angeles for anyone who might be spending the holiday alone. The inspiration for this event came from a simple desire: I genuinely don’t want anyone to be alone on Christmas. After posting about this on Threads, the response was overwhelming—my post gained over 1500 likes and 340 responses in less than 24 hours. That made me realize just how many people are looking for connection this holiday, and that I may need to move the event to a larger location to make sure everyone can be accommodated.

The funds raised will help secure a bigger venue, supplies, and food and beverages for the evening. I’m hoping guests will also bring a dish to share, turning this into a large potluck where everyone contributes and connects. Since this is coming together last minute, decorations may be simple, but my hope is to make this an annual tradition that grows each year and brings even more people together. No political or religious discussions—just good people coming together for a good time.
