Christmas community spirit

The best time of year is approaching and it’s the most exciting time of year for the majority of people in the community, but unfortunately this is not the case for everyone. Some people dread this time of year, some parents cannot afford to get their children Christmas presents or even cook up a Christmas dinner, some of our older generation in the area are spending Christmas alone because they have no family, and some people are living on the streets and would only dream of a hot Christmas dinner. No child should be left without on Christmas Day and nobody deserves to be left alone. That is why we have come up with the idea of making an extra special ‘Christmas Day’ for these people, were they can enjoy a day of entertainment, Santa and his grotto, a gift each and a hot Christmas dinner, a very Christmassy day for everyone to enjoy . Obviously a lot of effort and planning will have to go into this day, so as a community it’s nice to come together and help when help is needed, we have set up a go fund me page to help with any donation big or small to help plan this special day. donations would go towards the cost of the food, venue, entertainment, bouncy castles, Santa’s grotto, toys for the children, decorations etc. We plan to withdraw the money into one of our accounts with proof  of purchases and what we pay to the catering, entertainment, gifts and all the. Extras. Any money left over, food vouchers will be bought for the families in need. Volunteers and help on the day would be much appreciated too. Let’s make a day for these people to remember
