Christmas Cheer For ESCADV 2018
Dear Freedom Starters - Our magical time of the year is upon us. The time where we all come together and pull off what at times feels impossible - Christmas for those who are less fortunate and need a holiday miracle.
We have received this year's Christmas Wish List which holds the wishes of almost twenty families. It is the biggest list we have ever worked on. Maria asked how I felt about it because she understands that this will be a lot.
It will be a lot, but it will be totally worth it for me, for you, for us and for all of those victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. We have the ability and the power to contribute to a shining light of hope for them.
Over the next few days, a GoFundMe campaign will be organized, a gift registry through Walmart will be made and a wish list will be posted. As I type this, my Freedom Squad and I are bouncing ideas back and forth on how we can succeed at this enormous and powerful challenge.
Enormous and powerful but not impossible.
