Hi everyone, it’s that time of year again! This will be the 10th year I have organised the Christmas box donations. A big thank you to everyone who has taken part previously.

In 2022 I was recognised for my charitable work and awarded a Platinum Jubilee Civic Award by Ashford Borough Council which wouldn't have happened had I not have so many people willing to support.

For the last 9 years, I have organised a Christmas Box Donation Appeal which has provided Christmas presents to vulnerable children all over Kent. This has grown from 32 boxes helping just one charity in 2014 to over 500 boxes helping 17 Domestic Violence Refuges, 4 children’s Charities and a fostering service in 2021. Due to Covid in 2020, the appeal was in the form of a GoFundMe donations page, that allowed me to purchase gifts for the children, this worked well given the situation and some people preferred donating rather than completing a box.

Once again this year, I have decided to run both methods side by side to allow people to select their preference.

The boxes / donations will again be going to the children living within 17 domestic violence refuges, 4 children’s charities and a fostering service - all within Kent.

I have attached some photos of the previous seven years of donations and video’s from previous years.

I will keep this appeal open until the end of November. This allows me the time to purchase the gifts and deliver them to the homes. Before I deliver them, I will add a photo of all the presents to this page so you can see what we have achieved collectively.
