Hello friends, we are New Horizons Christian Association (ODV) — a faith-filled community driven by love, compassion, and a deep calling to serve others.
Over the years, our experience has deepened our awareness of poverty and the growing social distress affecting our communities.
Our desire has always been to be present and active in the local area—an area long marked by instability and structural inequality.
Official ISTAT data confirms this harsh reality:
Between 2022 and 2023, Sicily saw a significant rise in poverty, with over one-third of residents now living in critical economic conditions.
In response to this urgent need, we’ve been given a powerful opportunity:
A woman has kindly donated this building for us to renovate so that it will serve as a Christian outreach center and Solidarity Emporium — a space where we can provide food, clothing, and compassionate care to those who need it most.
It will be:
- A refuge for struggling families
- A source of dignity and aid for the unemployed and elderly
- A community of prayer and hope for all who enter
- Anyone going through a difficult season in life
We need YOU to help us make it happen
To complete this mission of outreach, we are raising €30,000. Every little donation will help us reach our goal. Nothing is too small to make an impact.
These funds will go directly toward:
- Renovating the building to make it safe and welcoming
- Purchasing equipment and supplies for food and aid distribution
- Every euro donated is a seed of faith and love, planted in the lives of those who need it most.
- Equip it with shelves, refrigerators, and storage for aid distribution
