Christian Carlisle and Rhonda Canfield

Hello, my name is Rhonda Canfield I'm in desperate need of your help. The past six weeks has taken a tool mentally , physical and financially on our family. 

    Our hardship started when the two vehicles  decided to break down within days of each other. We had to spend the money we had saved to get them fixed, so that myself and Christian we're able to get to, and from work. 

Right after spending the money on the vehicles Christian started not feeling well. He set up a doctor appointment and ended up having covid. The very next day in the middle of the night the sickness hit me, and I too tested positive for covid at that time. So we were both off work with no pay . COVID did a number on the both of us ! Once we were cleared to return to work we did so immediately! We could not afford to be off with covid in the first place. So now we're in a struggle to figure it out. 

Christian was able to get a job out of state. He runs camera for sporting events ESPN-NBC, concerts, even dog shows, etc. On day three after he was done at work ,he was having bad chest pains at the hotel. It got to the point he couldn't take it anymore. The squad was called and Christian was taken to the hospital. 

Christian had a heart attack. The doctor scheduled him for a heart catherization to be done the following day. When they tried to do the heart catheterization they had to stop because his blood pressure was way to high and they needed to get it under control. Once they got it under control the doctor did the heart cath. The results were not what we expected. Christian had two 80% blockages, an artery that was dissected,and another artery that was in really bad shape. He needed to have open heart surgery right away. They we're unable to transport him back to Ohio where we live. So they prepared to do open heart surgery there.  I was traveling back and forth to see him when I was able and had our 10yr old son stay with his grandma. I ended up being able to spend three days with him at the time of his surgery. Christian had a double bypass, Widowmaker procedure, and the doctor removed the two bad veins  from his heart and replace them with veins from his chest and his leg.  His surgery went well ( God is good ). He was in horrible pain !! The doctor did end up having to use both wire and metal plates in his chest instead of just the wire.He is going to be recovering for the next 8-10 weeks before he can even lift anything. I have also been off work the entire time, taking care of the kids, talking with the doctors, and taking care of Christian.  

     I spent money we didn't have to travel back and forth, to stay at a hotel a few nights so I could be there the entire time right before the double bypass, the day of and day after. It has been a mentally and financially draining experience all the way around. We could really use all the prayers we can get for his recovery.

 If you are willing and able to help us financially it would really take some of the stress off of us. It is going to be some time till he is able to return to work. We have reached out to other organizations to try to get help, but we don't have any disconnect notices or evictions so they're unable to lend a hand at this time. We also can't have disconnects or eviction notices where we're at or it's grounds for termination of our lease. We're trying to take care of the next 3 months while Christian isn't working and it'll still take me another month to start getting paid again.

Other places just don't have the funding or don't offer help for what we need. Thank you for your time and Thank you if you are able to help our family in our time of need.
