Hey, I’m Jessica. I’m a good friend of Christa’s, and I’m coming to y’all to try and help my dear friend. She has been fighting cancer and during this has faced SO many struggles and roadblocks no one should ever have to face. Now, because of the negligence of her first gyn-oncologist, the cancer has spread to her ovaries, which were supposed to be taken during her hysterectomy. Christa’s husband is the only one working and they have 3 children, 2 of which are little ones.

Christa is having surgery to remove her ovaries on 02.24.2025. This will be an open abdominal surgery to make sure they can do this properly so she doesn’t have to be put through this again. The issue is her financial situation because of everything her family has gone through since her cancer diagnosis.

Having to figure out if you should get your treatment or feed your children is something no one should have to consider when you’re already fighting for your life.

Where y’all come in… Christa has to now drive all the way to Eugene to have her surgery. With this surgery being as intense as it is and because they have no family to help, all of them have to drive up there. Which means her husband will have to be out of work and this means there will be no pay either as his paid leave was exhausted when Christa was first diagnosed.
