Chris's Miracle Journey

Hello,

I am Sergey, Chris's father, reaching out with a heartfelt story of resilience and hope that defines our family here in Canada.

In the 20th week of pregnancy, my wife Dasha was in the emergency room and received difficult news about complications during pregnancy and that doctors were fighting for our boy's life. Despite the uncertainty presented by the medical team, our little warrior Chris (Christian) showed incredible strength, defying the odds until Week 24. On February 22, 2024, he was born earlier than expected, weighing just 1.39 lbs.

Christian is currently courageously fighting in the intensive care unit at Sunnybrook Hospital, ON. Our family travels from Port Hope to Toronto to ensure he receives the best care possible, with the unwavering presence of his mother being crucial for his development.
