This is unfortunate, but here I am again. My cousin Chris, who has been battling T-cell leukemia for over two years, had two bone marrow transplants. The first one failed and he had to get a second one. The procedure of a bone marrow transplant is very hard on the body especially when multiples are conducted. The good news is that his leukemia has not come back into his marrow. The bad news is that it has now spread to his lymph system throughout his throat and neck causing pain, swelling, and difficulty breathing. He is still receiving radiation and chemo and is hoping to possibly get into a clinical trial or find a natural remedy. At this point, he is trying any and everything to survive. But as we all know, cancer treatment in any form isn't cheap.
His family has been through so much these past few years. He is a pastor, a husband to his phenomenal wife Lindsay, and a father to five AMAZING kids ranging from 5 to 15 years old who are not ready to lose their dad. Chris was in a terrible car accident in 2020 and could have died. The Lord spared his life then and we are continually praying that He will spare it now as well. We believe that God works all things together for good, but that doesn't make this situation any less painful for those who love Chris and his family.
Throughout this whole process, Chris has held firm to his faith. His attitude is amazing and he is always there to lift everyone up around him despite his circumstances. Even while sick in the hospital, he was ministering and praying for the medical staff around him. He has continued to use this terrible situation to glorify the Lord. If you'd like to read more about his journey then you can check out his Caring Bridge link by clicking here.
I know times are tough for a lot of people. But if you can spare any amount, even $5.00, it would be greatly appreciated. A little bit from a lot of people can really add up!
Thank you for your consideration.
