Chris & Katy's IVF Fundraiser

On behalf of a wonderful couple, we are wanting to support them in their journey. IVF is a long, exhausting, and expensive procedure.

 

Chris & Katy have been trying to conceive for 4 years, and it's been a very emotional time for them both.

Katy has had 3 very invasive surgeries, a number of overnight stays in hospital and so many blood tests.

 

In June 2019, as a couple, they endured heartbreak when Katy had a miscarriage at 7 weeks. This was very hard on them as a couple and pushed them both to try and get some help regarding their fertility journey.

They started their journey through the NHS, under three different hospitals and consultants. Katy was constantly being scanned, having more bloods taken & booked in for various tests. They both then decided to go private to have further testing, this was paid for by themselves, in the hope they would get some positive news.

 

In May 2021, they were both given the very sad news that they are unable to conceive naturally.

 

Chris & Katy will soon be starting IVF but this is being funded by themselves due to them not qualifying for any help from the NHS.
