On 3rd July 2026, our Scout Leader, Chris (Akela), at the grand age of 75, will be doing a Wing Walk, taking off from Headcorn Aerodrome.

This is a sponsored event, to raise money to buy essential camp equipment for the 11th Gillingham Scout group. We are looking to buy a solar panel, a power pack, lighting, and a large capacity portable fridge freezer. All this will help us to safely store food, to help keep our sections or group well-fed, in an environmentally-friendly way!

As Chris has paid for the wing walk himself, all funds raised will go straight to the 11th Gillingham Scout group.
