Help Chris and Chris grow their family!

Hi, my name is Weston Clark and I, like so many people, am a big fan of this couple - Chris Wharton and Chris Jensen. You've probably met them at a community event, fundraiser, or some other space dedicated to making our community better. You probably also know they both spend a considerable amount of their lives helping the community. Chris W. has spent years dedicated to public service as a Salt Lake City Councilman. He also runs his own law firm that always chooses what's right even if it makes no money. Chris J. not only finds himself an advocate for classic and historic Utah and Salt Lake City but he also spent years leading and chairing the board of the Utah Pride Center, a thankless task, that has brought millions of dollars to service the LGBTQ community needs.

But you all know this. You are their friends. They are amazing humans - and they now they would love nothing more than to be dads.

As a gay dad, I know that the road to becoming a dad isn't easy and it isn't cheap - adoption can cost in the 30-60k range. Lawyers, social workers, services to the birth mother, etc...

Matters become harder when adoptions fall through and money is lost. Sometimes a substantial amount. Unfortunately, Chris and Chris had this happen to them only making the course to parenthood harder.

I know that this community would love to give back to this couple and see them grow their family. They will be incredible dads, and I want to do what I can to make it a reality. Join me in helping them on their way.

Every little bit helps. We know it takes a village to raise a child, but for some of us we need that village a little earlier than others.
