Jose Angel Martiarena AKA "CHITO"

My name is Gricelda Martiarena, my oldest brother is Jose Angel Martiarena AKA "Chito" the lawnmower man. Chito was born in Del Rio on March 7, 1964. Chito has a disability in which he can not speak and he has some impaired mobility on some parts of his body. When he was about 10-12 yrs old he was seen by a specialist in San Angelo my parents were told that partial of his brain was paralyzed and it affected his speech and half of his body mobility. Chito attended Del Rio Middle school up to 8th grade he understands what you say and when your having conversations with him, he's just unable to speak. 
On Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at approximately 10-11 pm he was walking from the area (Ave F by the mall up to WalMart) where he had been working 2 days in a row.  
While traveling by foot pushing his lawnmower and carts on 14th street and Ave C, only 4 blocks from home, the unexpected happened, someone hit his lawnmower and while he was dragging 3 carts along with it. They struck the left side of it and broke it. The person did not stop to render aid or see if he was okay or assist him in any way. Chito is a very loving, hard working and a smart man and always sees the good in everyone. He loves his town and community and wants it to look its best. 
As a request from the community I am starting this Go Fund to help Chito replace his items and to help him for his expenses in the future.
