Clean Air For Children
Donation protected

The plan is to tackle the huge problem of air pollution by one of the most polluted school in London, situated right next to the A4, a 6-lanes carriageway with a flow of up to 100,000 vehicles a day.
This is what we want to do:
Reinforce the brick wall along the playground so that we can grow our living wall higher and have more chances to stop air pollution coming from the A4.
We want to buy air purifiers to place inside each class.
Plant more trees.
Build an edible Playground around the school
We've already raised more than £75,000 on www.spacehive.com/chiswickoasis to build a living wall along the perimeter of our playground. However the current brick wall is not strong enough to support the weight of a full green screen. In order to fill the whole mesh of top of the brick wall, we must reinforce the original structure... and that costs money too.
The newly refurbished space will also be open to the public, after school hours and week-ends, and will become a site for markets, fairs and other social events).
You can read more about the full project on our website: www.chiswickoasis.com
Our campaign has gained support from the whole community, from our local MP and local councillors from opposite side of the political landscape.
Please, help us. This is for our children and their health but it's also for the whole community of Chiswick and beyond as we are hoping this will become a model for many other schools to follow.
