Hi everyone! My name is Olayemi Sowemimo, a current chiropractic student at Cleveland University- Kansas City. I'm excited to share that I have been accepted to attend a mission trip in Sayulita, Mexico this upcoming April. I am asking for support in taking care of the expenses. For those who are unaware of chiropractic, it is the ability to direct movement to applicable parts of the body, or an adjustment, to enhance quality of life. Coming from a background with very little knowledge of chiropractic, I learned how essential chiropractic healing is, as the spine is the greatest communicator between the brain, organs, and other internal systems within the body. Though I have completed only 2 of 10 trimesters at Cleveland Chiropractic, I am doing my best to step on faith and become the best chiropractor I can be to serve my community mentally, physically, and emotionally. In trimester 3, I will receive my white coat; therefore, this mission trip will be a pivotal step before recieving my doctorate title, while also furthering my approach to helping others' heal. This journey of becoming a chiropractor, has not only been fruitful but it has also heightened my own healing process that I am forever grateful for. Thus, with the wisdom I continuously receive and integrate, my greatest intention is to shed layers of myself to channel the power of unconditional love to help others through the touch of healing. Though I have 3 more years to go, with my God-given passion, and the continuous support from my community, I will be seen through. Attached is a video of my current adjustment flow, and what I will be doing in Sayulita, Mexico. Thank you, and any support helps!
With Love,
Olayemi.
