Chip Stop are the heart of the community in and around the Falklands, Eastleigh area. They open over the lunch and dinner period, providing meals to OAP's and the community, to whom many look forward to a sneaky fish and chips treat. Much of the community know Chip Stop very well, and Baz and his team always find the time to have a nice chat with you. They certainly know their regular customers very well and know exactly how they like their food.
Chip Stop have also been providing meals for free to the less fortunate and homeless of Southampton, by supporting and donating food to NishkamSWAT Southampton. Before the pandemic began and during part of the pandemic, Chip Stop donated hot freshly cooked chips and many of those that required a hot free meal, always looked forward to the day Chip Stop donated food. NishkamSWAT are hugely appreciative of this donation and would like to assist Chip Stop during this tough time for them.
The terrible fire at Chip Stop on the early hours of Tuesday 13th April 2021, devastated the livelihoods of those that work for Chip Stop and also Baz and his family. It is a miracle that thankfully nobody was harmed by the fire. It took almost 50 firefighters to take out the flames, from Eastleigh, Redbridge, St Mary's and Portchester. Paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service attended to four casualties for light smoke inhalation. Residents were evacuated and Hampshire Constabulary were at scene to assist fire officer's. This was certainly no small fire, and Chip Stop has completely been destroyed in this blaze.
This fundraising campaign is to help Chip Stop get back to what they do best, get back on their feet and help those that were affected by this horrible fire. It will enable Chip Stop to continue to pay its employees as well as get their premises back to its former glory.
Anyone who has suffered a complete fire loss will appreciate how much this funding will assist Chip Stop. I hope you find it in your heart to dig deep and help. Your donation will be greatly appreciated to help Baz and his Team.
