Children’s Ward Christmas Lights at Stepping Hill Hospital

Hello! My name is cez. Mum to the amazing amy-rose (and ella!)
we are in the midst of a stressful and scary hospital admission with amy. Those of you who know us will know that this can happen quite often and we often feel stepping hill is a second home to us.
i found out today that the ward can no longer use their usual Christmas lights for infection control reasons. So i agreed i would help to try and fund some infection control approved rope lights to cheer up the poor families stuck in throughout the festive season.
i have 11 years worth of december ward memories and am so saddened at the prospect of no lights. They will also be useable around the year as well which is great.
any extra funds raised (if we are lucky enough) will towards craft materials/toys/games.. basically all things the ward is in constant desperate need of but simply cannot afford themselves.
so please, if you can, donate. Every penny counts. If you cant or dont want to donate, i would also really appreciate a sharing of the link to spread the word.
this is a frightening time of year for families like ours. But also for families who have never been in hospital before. I really hope we can add some cheer and help make a medical setting feel a little more cosy and friendly. Never underestimate the power of pretty lights!
i will post regular updates and also provide images of what is purchased and when along with photos of the lights on display!
i did ask if they could create an amazon wishlist but sadly this isnt allowed.
thanks so much in advance and lots of love
