Children's Hope International Senior Project
Tax deductible
My name is Tatyana Neugebauer. I was born in a small town in South Central Siberia called Novokuznetsk. In the spring of 2005, a woman received a phone call that her daughter had collapsed and had given birth to a baby girl. That baby was me. My birth mother never woke up and soon after, passed away. My birth mother’s family was very poor and didn’t have the means to take care of me. As a result, I spent the first 11 months of my life in an orphanage. In the spring of 2006, my parents flew to Russia and brought me to my forever home in the United States. I grew up knowing I was adopted, so it has always been a comfortable topic for me to talk about. My brother and I were adopted through an organization called Children’s Hope International. Now, 17 years later, I want to give back to the organization that gave me the opportunity to have such an amazing life, and I want to help the children who have not been as fortunate as me. As many of you might know, I am now a senior in high school and will be going away to college in the fall. For my high school senior project, I have decided to help Children’s Hope International with its efforts to maintain a 100-year-old orphanage in India that is home to 50 children ages 4-12 years old to continue to shelter these kids. I am hoping to raise $7,000. $5000 will go towards food, shelter, and medical care for two months and $2000 will go towards two months of education for these kids.
I am seeking your help to fund this cause and to help these children who have not yet found their forever homes. This money will help ensure that these children are properly taken care of and educated in a safe and secure environment. If you feel so inclined, please donate to this cause.
