Children with rare conditions and their families in NL

There are over 1.2 million people in the Netherlands living with a rare disease. At least 75% of those cases are diagnosed in pregnancy or childhood. A Different Story supports families caring for a child that lives with a rare disease and/or has intensive care needs. We strive to improve the experience of these families in this often difficult and isolating journey in making decisions regarding the health, education, and long-term care of their child in the Netherlands. We are currently raising core funds to support our ongoing work across these key pillars. Help us provide the support that these families so desperately need.
