Hi all my name is Amanda As a family we understand how difficult times can be when you have a premmie baby and the heart break you feel every day we as a family would like to raise money for other families going through the same situation as us to try and ease the pressure and make sure all our babies get the right equipment and accessories on the 14th August 2024 we as a family had the worse news any parent can imagine we was told Dylan had to be born 9 weeks early due to placenta had ruptured we was told from that day it was a 50/50 chance survival rate for dylan we was rushed to emergency theatre where Dylan was born not breathing he was put straight on to oxygen and rushed straight to the nicu unit where he spent a further 10 weeks on oxygen before he was allowed home after months and months of telling the something wasent right wirh our little boy thry finally admitted he should of been put for a emergency mri so this arranged as a emergency after a few days of waiting for the results we got the news we really didn’t want to hear thst Dylan has a bleed on thr brain and severe brain damage and may never walk Dylan has physo once a month and is under a lot of consultants and doctors Dylan is now 19 months old and is still very small for his age due to Dylan’s condition Dylan had to be given a specialist pram to prevent and further damage to his hips and back with Dylan being so small he needs to have a raincover and a specialist cosy toes we was told that the government can not fund these for the pram due to the cost and other speacial equipment thats babys needs to help there needs as a parent of a poorly baby we are trying to raise funds to help others family’s in our situation please if you can donate no matter how small it all adds up we as a family would love to help other parents and family’s in our situation thankyou for takeing time to read this
