Hi, my name is Jeremy Trudell, and I'm a single father in an urgent fight to bring my sons — Marcus (12) and Logan (8) — back to the safe, stable home they've always known. My family is devastated, and we desperately need your help.

On June 8, 2025, my children were tragically and unlawfully taken from our church's Sunday school by sheriffs and given to their mother, Eneviv Brown. This happened without a signed court order or valid warrant. The court has since admitted the order used wasn't signed, yet they still upheld this illegal act.

This seizure came shortly after Eneviv pleaded guilty to physically assaulting me — her sons' father. Then, out of the blue, she filed an affidavit claiming "imminent danger" if the kids stayed with me. This is a cruel fabrication; there has never been any abuse or neglect on my part. We believe this is clear retaliation and not because she genuinely wants to care for them.

Eneviv has a history of instability. She left our family three years ago, disappearing for months. She then married a man for a green card, living with him for weeks at a time before he filed for divorce. Her pattern of instability continued with a new boyfriend, often leaving her children for days. Now, despite her history and my son's pleas, the court has sided with her!

My sons are now living in a crowded rental with two unrelated adult men, two teenagers, and no adult supervision during the day. Marcus, my 12-year-old, is terrified. He's sharing a bed with his mother, has been threatened for trying to contact me, and witnessed the assault that led to his mother's conviction. He's begging to come home, to his own bed, and to all his familiar belongings. Logan, my 8-year-old, is also deeply affected. My sons cry daily to come home.

I've filed a Writ of Habeas Corpus and a Protective Order. On July 10, a new judge will finally hear our case. My sons deserve to be safe, and I will do everything in my power to bring them home.
