On January9, 2019, my children tragically lost their father in a work accident at the Port of Wilmington. Everyone, who knew him, knew that his kids were his world. He fathered 4 beautiful children. Alyssa, Samantha, Alexandria and Nicholas now have to grow up without the security of their father to lean on. We now feel lost without him here. Steve was known for helping others whenever they were in need. He would help anyone, family, friend or stranger.
I like to tell the story of the time we were getting coffee at Exxon and attempted to give a couple directions. They didn't understand so without hesitation he had the couple follow us to where they were going. When we got them to their location, they offered us $20 for gas and our trouble. Of course he refused, because that was who Steve was. He always gave without expecting anything in return.
So now I am asking for your help on behalf of the 4 young children that he left behind.
