Children of Sapa

In celebration of my 30th birthday, I will once again be embarking on another solo trip back to Vietnam. Within these trips, I've learned and seen how others live and they live with much less than you and I, to a point of poverty where a blanket can seem like a luxury. Seeing this with a heavy heart I went out and purchased blankets and distribute them to the children and women of Sapa. It was spontaneous and a small gesture but my efforts came from the heart. I enjoyed it so I will continue doing so again this year.

Through this GoFundMe page that I've created gives you the opportunity to participate without having to be there. Instead of presents or fancy dinners, what would bring me great joy for my 30th birthday is if you, my friends could donate towards my cause. The purpose is to raise enough money so we can provide even more blankets and other necessary resources (such as rice, boxes of noodles, etc.) to as many children and families as possible in Sapa and the surrounding villages. So, if you would like to join in on this journey with me and donate it would be much appreciated. I'll make sure to document my every step with photos and updates for everyone to see how this small kind gesture would provide good memories and a sense of happiness to them that will hopefully last forever.
