Siamo Fabio, Lorenzo e Valentina. Cinque anni fa abbiamo fatto una scelta: non restare a guardare.

Da allora non ci siamo mai fermati. Attraverso viaggi di volontariato in Kenya e in Malawi, con diverse associazioni al nostro fianco, abbiamo trasportato cibo, contribuito alla costruzione di pozzi, installato pompe a pedali per l'irrigazione dei campi. Nelle scuole abbiamo condotto laboratori creativi, scientifici e percorsi di empowerment femminile, perché crediamo che investire sulle ragazze significhi costruire un futuro migliore per tutta la comunità.

Negli ultimi due anni lavoriamo con Aleimar, realtà che condivide la nostra visione: non portare aiuti dall'esterno, ma costruire insieme alle comunità locali strumenti concreti di autonomia e dignità. Progetti che restano, che crescono, che non finiscono quando l'aereo riparte.

L'anno scorso avete reso possibile tutto questo. Grazie alla vostra generosità abbiamo raccolto quasi 10.000 euro, partito, consegnato centinaia di sacchi di farina di mais e dato continuità a un progetto in cui crediamo profondamente.

Oggi torniamo per la quinta volta, più preparati, più consapevoli, più radicati nella comunità che abbiamo imparato ad amare.

A cosa servono i vostri contributi

Una parte del budget coprirà i costi logistici del viaggio. Ma il cuore di questa campagna è acquistare deambulatori e carrozzine per i bambini con disabilità motorie. Ogni carrozzina viene progettata su misura, in base alla disabilità specifica del bambino, costruita per funzionare su qualsiasi terreno e con ruote antiforatura. Aleimar collabora con aziende specializzate che operano direttamente sul posto, e nel costo è compreso il viaggio dei costruttori presso le famiglie per prendere le misure e garantire il supporto più adatto.

Un deambulatore costa 40 euro. Una carrozzina su misura costa 500 euro.

Ogni donazione ci avvicina a un bambino in più. E ogni bambino che riceve una carrozzina riacquista qualcosa di fondamentale, la possibilità di muoversi, di andare a scuola, di partecipare alla vita della sua comunità.

We are Fabio, Lorenzo and Valentina. Five years ago we made a choice: to stop being bystanders.

Since then, we have never stopped. Through volunteer trips to Kenya and Malawi, alongside different organisations, we have transported food, helped build wells, and installed pedal pumps to irrigate the fields. In schools we have run creative and scientific workshops alongside female empowerment programmes, because we believe that investing in girls means building a better future for the entire community.

Over the last two years we have been working with Aleimar, an organisation that shares our vision: not to bring aid from the outside, but to build together with local communities the concrete tools for autonomy and dignity. Projects that last, that grow, that do not end when the plane flies home.

Last year, you made all of this possible. Thanks to your generosity we raised almost 10,000 euros, travelled to Malawi, delivered hundreds of sacks of corn flour, and kept alive a project we deeply believe in.

Today we return for the fifth time, more prepared, more aware, more deeply rooted in the community we have come to love.

How your contributions will be used

Part of the budget will cover the logistical costs of the trip. But the heart of this campaign is the purchase of walkers and wheelchairs for children with motor disabilities. Each wheelchair is custom built according to the child's specific disability, designed to work on any terrain and fitted with puncture proof wheels. Aleimar works with specialised companies operating locally, and included in the cost is the journey of the builders to each family, to take measurements and ensure the most suitable support.

A walker costs 40 euros. A custom wheelchair costs 500 euros.

Every donation brings us one child closer. And every child who receives a wheelchair regains something fundamental, the ability to move, to go to school, to take part in the life of their community.
