Hope Welcomes Children Foundation's Government Issued CBO and NGO Certificates

The story behind the GoFundMe and Hope Welcomes Children Foundation:

One day I received a message from a very kind man from Uganda through Facebook. His name was Keyza Kiiza Samuel and he asked me if I was interested in engaging in any of the ministries that he was a part of in his area of Uganda. I began to communicated back and forth with him for awhile and learned a lot about his foundation he founded which was originally called the Hope for Children Robinson Foundation. The small foundation puts much of its efforts towards helping mostly children and elderly people in many small communities in Uganda. He shared with me much of the struggles that they go through everyday in one of the poorest countries in the world. Children who are without safe drinking water (some of which having to drink out of dirty ponds), food, clothes, electricity, school supplies and a proper education due to the fact that the infrastructure and other necessary resources are lacking.

They have been working tirelessly to help the people in these communities who are in need of basic necessities for survival and quality of life that most of us take for granted everyday. It brought me to tears seeing the touching photos and stories he shared about what they have gone through and how they are working hard to help people survive and have a better quality of life. Without them and their heroic efforts the people there would suffer even more than they are now. Keyza and I have been in contact frequently on the things they need that they are having trouble affording.

In our humanitarian relief efforts, here is some of the aid that we have worked and continue to work to provide:
  • school supplies/fee payments so children can get an education
  • clothes, shoes and school apparel
  • utilities like electricity, gas and water
  • food, water and everyday general goods
  • transportation services to and from remote villages for people with no form of transportation and in need of medical treatment, food supplies and more
  • health care access and treatment including medical supplies, surgeries, vaccines and prescription glasses to the visually impaired

Due to the low amount of funding and support they are barely able to make an impact to help these children and others in having a better and more safe life. Even the smallest donation can mean the world to me, the hard working people of the foundation and the children it helps. We are so happy to be able to do this for them for it brings hope to those in need in Uganda. The foundation is not very large or recognized so I'm using GoFundMe to get funds to Keyza and his foundation by PayPal and then through World Remit since many of those apps don't work in Uganda. Thank you so much for reading this and only if you are able and want to help we would be most grateful.

The early phase of a construction project for a water storage and distribution system: Hope Welcomes Children Foundation was working to implement 3 10,000 liter water storage tanks in a small impoverished village where children can have access to clean water in an area where most sources of water are scarce and unsafe to drink. (Date: 15/17/2021) The GoFundMe was able to raise food aid donations that helped feed 120 families suffering from food insecurity due to new government imposed COVID-19 lockdowns and worsening inflation that has sent prices skyrocketing for basic goods.

(Date: 07/07/2021) The GoFundMe helped raise enough donations to feed 173 families in impoverished communities that are suffering from food insecurity. Newly imposed countrywide lockdowns in Uganda as well a huge rise in inflation has made it even more difficult for people to afford and access basic necessities like food.

(Date: 04/02/2021) A personal $100 donation was made to the GoFundMe that helped provide school supplies like textbooks, notebooks, pens, pencils, education posters and more for hundreds of children in a poor community in Uganda where children's quality and access to education is lacking.
