Helping less fortunate children in Kolkata

Hi my name is Ella Barrett and I am travelling to Kolkata in March 2024 with the HOPE Foundation. I will be travelling over with alongside a few other students and teachers. Over there I will be volunteering and helping the children in Kolkata.

I will be doing a lot of different events like a coffee morning, a sponsored hike up Croagh Patrick, bag packing in supermarkets, helping to work and organise a concert that is happening in my school and lots more to help raise the money to change these children’s life’s for the better.

HOPE is an amazing foundation and does extraordinary work by rescuing and helping thousands of children from the streets and slums in Kolkata and improving their quality of life. HOPE gives children access to water, food, education and a home all which they would not have if it wasn’t for HOPE. HOPE is providing a better future for these children and we can all help too.
