On August 10th, 2025, tragedy struck when my mother’s home — the house I grew up in — was completely destroyed in a devastating fire. In less than an hour, everything she owned was gone. The fire took not only her belongings, but also our two beloved family pets, who were part of our lives for so many years.
To make matters worse, my mother unknowingly had no insurance coverage at the time of the fire. Her insurance company dropped her a couple months ago after they stopped covering manufactured homes, leaving her completely unprotected when disaster struck.
She lost everything — her car, clothing, furniture, TV, household items — and the place filled with decades of memories. This was more than just a house; it was the heart of our family.
Along with the cost of the demolition and clean up from this horrific tragedy. My mother is now left with nothing but the clothes she was wearing at the time and will need to replace basic necessities like clothing, shoes, and toiletries, as well as find transportation and a place to live while we figure out the long road to rebuilding.
We are asking for help to get her back on her feet. Any donation, big or small, will make a difference in helping her recover from this unimaginable loss. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this with others.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, prayers, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
