On September 23rd, 2025, Adams County Chief Deputy Matt Cude, a dedicated member of our law enforcement community, experienced an unimaginable tragedy: the loss of his beloved son, Asaiah.

Asaiah, 16, was a kind hearted son and friend who would do anything for anyone if he could. He was always ready to talk and listen. He was a great son, brother, and friend. His passing has left a hole in the lives of everyone who knew and loved him and he will be incredibly missed.

While Chief Deputy Cude has spent his career protecting and serving others, now it is our turn to rally around his family in their time of greatest need. This fundraiser has been created to help ease the financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses, provide support for counseling and healing, and allow the family the time and space to grieve without added financial stress.
