Chico's heart surgery

Our family and friends are trying to raise money for my little brother Chico Critchell he lives in the Philippines and is 14 years old, and he is needing heart surgery. He has rheumatic heart disease and will unfortunately have heart failure without surgery. Unlike America there is no insurance or assistance so the doctor needs the money before he will go through with the surgery. His surgery and hospital bills as of now are around 25000$
Chico's Story
Chico is a 14 year old boy that lives in the Philippines. He developed Rheumatic Heart Disease after a bout with strep throat in 2019. Since then, he has been getting injections every 3 weeks to help his heart function properly. Sadly, his health is slowly deteriorating. The Dr's say with surgery he should be able to regain a somewhat normal life. As it is right now, he continues to battle chest and joint pain along with swelling of the feet and legs as a result of his heart not functioning properly. Very sad way for a teenager to face life.
Chico and his family have already faced their share of hardships. In 2016, our dad Tim passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, leaving Chico's mother, now a widow, to raise 4 young children, all under 10 at the time. Besides being our beloved father, he was the family breadwinner.
The local community of Chico is trying to raise money to help Chico's situation but the average daily wage is 5 US dollars in the area, it's quite hard to raise sufficient funds.
We are asking for any help to try to save Chico's life and give him a future.
