Chicago DCFS Unit Drive

Hi my name is Peter and I work at UIC Hospital in Chicago as a nurse that specializes in mental health issues specifically for wards of DCFS. The kids I care for range from ages 11-16 and have all been physically and mentally traumatized from a young age. Our unit currently has 9 patients who hardly ever receive gifts of any kind for any occasion. Christmas is magical to so many kids around the world and I’d like to be able to give them a limit of $100 each to write a Christmas list out! Your generosity or even just sharing this would be so greatly appreciated this time of year.

Anything over will of course be redistributed to provide the kids with useful extras like hygiene products!
