The Brothers of Chi Psi Cornell are fundraising money for the Ithaca Fire Department for their efforts in keeping Ithaca and the surrounding community safe for our annual Chi Psi 'staches November!

In 1906, the Ithaca Fire Department responded with remarkable courage as the original Chi Psi lodge burned, forging a hallowed legacy of service, sacrifice, and brotherhood that still defines both IFD and Chi Psi today. This fundraiser honors that shared history by supporting the IFD’s continued mission, ensuring they have the resources to carry their heroic tradition forward for generations.

The funds we raise will be earmarked for a new gear dryer for the IFD Central Fire Station. Gear dryers are used to dry firefighter turnout gear as part of the cleaning process. They remove carcinogens from gear after structure fires.

We have spoken with Active Fire Chief Michael Moody, and are thrilled to support the Ithaca Fire Department!
