Justice for Anthony !

I am raising this money on behalf of my cousin Maricela who lost her beautiful baby boy very unexpectedly. She truly believes that her son passed away due to the negligence from health care providers. This go fund me will allow her to find the answers she needs and fight for justice for little boy Anthony

he is a very happy boy, always smiling. 
On 11/28/21 Anthony had a fever. He was taken to Emmanuel hospital so they could give him something to bring his fever down. They said nothing was wrong with him so they didn’t give him any medication and sent him home. The next day 11/29/21 Anthony woke up very tired and weak from his fever. He didn’t even want to wake up so we rushed him to The ER at Kaiser. When we got there they told us that he had a very high fever and they would have to hospitalize him. Unfortunately though he would have to get sent to OHSU Doernbecher children hospital because there were no rooms available at Kaiser. He was taken to OHSU and was admitted. The first day they did blood work and put an IV in him. The next day 11/30/21 We were told that Anthony came out positive for RSV. We were told not to worry because this was not a risky virus. We were also told that the only medication they needed to provide was ibuprofen because there wasn’t a specific medication for RSV. They started giving Anthony ibuprofen and continuing to give fluid in his IV. They also took an X-ray of his lungs and everything came out fine. On 12/01/21 Anthony was doing a lot better. He didn’t have a fever anymore and was finally starting to play with his toys. We mentioned that he was doing better to the nurses and that they should stop giving him so much IV fluids, but they would just ignore us and say that they would stop them soon. Hours would pass by and no one would come and check on him or stop the IV fluids. While having to clean his nose they would be very forceful and rough with him. The nurses and doctors would constantly question between themselves what they had to do as if the didn’t know what they were doing. On 12/03/21 they put Anthony on oxygen so that he could breath easier since he had a lot of blockage in his nose. They told us that the IV fluid had gone into his blood. Around 7pm the oxygen machine and IV machine started beeping with a red alert. We told the nurses the baby was dying they ran out of the room and took a long time to come back to help him out. When they came back they didn’t let us be in the room, So we didn’t know what they were doing. About 30 minutes later they told us that he had to be put in the ICU, but they took forever to take him (They let him die). The baby lost a lot of blood. They didn’t let us in the ICU because they said it was a sterile area. And after about 30 minutes they told us the baby had died. When they told us we felt like it was in a very joking way. When we went into the room where the baby passed away there were no oxygen machines no machines that would look like they were aiding him. There was also a lot of blood everywhere, it looked like they tried to clean it up but there was still a lot everywhere. They took his life ! A social worker told us the doctors wanted to talk to us but no one ever came other than this one doctor that wasn’t even the main doctor that was in charge. No one ever faced us. Every one hid ! That is how they took my baby’s life away. 

 

Que es un niño feliz . Y muy sonriente . Que le quería echar muchas ganas a la vida pero el día 11/28/21 tenía solo fiebre y lo llevamos al hospital Emanuel legacy hospital para que le dieran algo sobre la fiebre y no quisieron hacer nada porque ellos dijieron que el no tenía nada y lo tuvimos que regresar a casa. El siguente día 11/29/21 despertó muy cansado y débil por la fiebre no quería despertar lo tuvimos que despertar y llevarlo al hospital Kaiser permanente a emergencia y ellos dijieron que tenía temperatura muy alta. Nos dijieron que el bebe necesitaba estar internado y nosotros dijimos que estaba bien y les preguntamos si lo internaran en el hospital sunnyside káiser. Ellos dijieron que no se podía porque no tenían habitaciones disponible y nosotros les dijimos que no queríamos que el se fuera a otro hospital porque el ahí tenía su seguro médico y ellos nos dijieron que no avía otra opsion que mandarlo al OHSU doernbecher Children’s hospital. Lo llevaron ahí en emergencia y ellos lo internaro, el primer día ellos le pusieron suero y sacaron sangre para ver si tenía una infección y después el siguiente día 11/30/21 nos dieron que en los resultados de su sangre le detectaron el virus RSV. Ellos dijieron que no era riesgoso porque ese virus no tiene medicina que solo es tomara ibuprofen y ellos le empezaron dar ibuprofen y mucho suero. Le hisieron radio grafía de sus pulmones y todo salió bien el día 12/01/21 el ya se veía activo ya no tenía fiebre. El jugo en el hospital con sus juguetitos y nosotros les dijimos que el ya está mejor que ya no le pusieran más suero pero ellos siempre lo ignoraban y nos decía que si pero en un rato. Pasaban las horas y nadie lo atendía para quitarle el suero y luego una enfermera fue y nos dijo que no le quitaban el suero y todo ellos son practicantes enfermeros siempre no sabía lo que estaban asiendo lo forzaban mucho para limpiar su nariz porque según ellos tienen que limpiar las flemas que el tenía para poder respirar bien y siempre lo forzaban y siempre entre ellos preguntaban entre ellos lo que hacian porque no sabían de lo que estaban asiendo 12/03/21 le pusieron oxígeno caliente porque según ellos lo ayudaba para destapar su nariz para respirar mejor y el bebe no se dejaba tenía muchas fuerzas que el ya no nesecitava suero y ellos dijieron que el suero se le junto con su sangre y nosotros ya les aviamos advertido sobre el suero y nunca tomaron en cuenta nuestra decicion y las 7 pm más o menos el bebe se empezó a marinar y las máquinas de oxígeno y suero empezaron a llorar y con luz roja de alerta y nosotros les dijimos que el bebe se estaba muriendo y las enfermeras corrieron afuera sin ayudar al bebe esperaron mucho tiempo para que alguien lo diera auxilio y no nos dejaron verlo lo que ellos están asiendo esperamos como 30 minutos y nos dijieron que lo tenían que llevar a ICU y tardaron mucho para llevarlo lo dejaron morir le sacaron mucha sangre 4 veces El Niño perdió mucha sangre no nos dejaron entrar con el en ICU porque según ellos tenía que estar limpio ese lugar y ya después de 30 minutos nos dijieron que se murió nos lo dijieron en una forma como si se estuvieran burlando fuimos al lugar donde el se murió el no tenía oxígeno no tenía nada de lo que ellos dijieron que le iban aser lo encontramos sin ninguna máquina para auxilio el Bebe tenía mucha sangre regado en todo el cuarto ellos trataron de limpiar y esconder la sangre pero no pudieron porque todavía avía mucha sangre ellos lo le quitaron la vida y la trabajadora social del hospital dijo que quería hablar los doctores con nosotros y nadie de ellos dio la cara sólo se presentó una señora según la doctora pero ella no era la doctora que habló con nosotros todos huyeron y se escondieron sin dar la cara así fue como le quitaron la vida a nuestro bebe
