Hi Everyone I would like your support in obtaining a Chevy Bolt battery to integrate the cells into the Chevy Volt to increase power and range. First I need to obtain the Bolt battery and measure the dimensions of the cells. Then I need to see how many modules fit in the Volts battery housing if possible, worse case scenario all cells gets put in the back seat and trunk area. This isn't my first time adding additional battery capacity in the Volt. I have previously added an entire second Volt battery in the rear and wired it up to the HV system. I was able to get around 17kwh per charge. Since the Bolt battery is 3-4 times more energy then the Volts I expect at least minimum reach 80miles of range or more. I will post project updates as usual if successfully funded.
