To celebrate the 20th year of the the Activity Week located at the Burns Green, Chester-Le-Street, Durham Agency Against Crime are now helping and supporting Durham Police in delivering this FREE Family event.

Since starting the event at the Market Place,we have grown and moved the to a large, grassed area at Burns Green, near Cone Terrace and the swimming baths at Chester-le-Street. Over the last two years the event has grown and attracted near to 25,000 visitors over the week. Due to the number of activities, we offer and striving to keep it FREE to attend, the costs have risen over the years, and it now costs in the region of £30,000 to fund this event. The police must find the funds through sponsorships and donations to put this event on for the community. PCSO Adrian Richards from Chester-Le-Street police has organised this in previous years, but it is time for more people to get involved and help us out with funding and support the 2027 event and beyond, to keep this event alive and in Chester-Le-Street.

Amount can range from, £2.50, £5, £10, £20 or any other amount. £££
