Chess2All is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by Alex and Angela Chen. All donations are 100% tax deductible.
Here at Chess2All, our mission is to empower people, enrich lives, and enhance communities through chess. COVID-19 is preventing kids from learning through schools, as well as creating a huge starvation crisis in North Carolina. North Carolina has the 8th highest food insecurity across the Nation, specifically Raleigh making around 40% of it. That is why we have decided to host our Chess & Writing Charity Camp, we hope to provide highly instructional content, as well as supporting such an important cause . 100% of all the proceeds will be donated to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina, who will provide basic essential needs and food for those in the Raleigh-Durham Area of North Carolina.
As we know, COVID-19 is impacting the lives of millions. It is not only destroying jobs and creating a huge strain on the economy, but it is also creating a devastating burden on basic essential needs, such as food. Currently their are around 250,590 people in Raleigh, North Carolina who are starving and have no food to eat. According to Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina, 1 dollar can feed 10 people.

On behalf of the chess community, we truly believe that we can make a difference together with your support. If possible, please consider donating or joining one of our camps. Any donation will count in helping us reach our mission in spreading chess to benefit the community, specifically during this unprecedented times.
We need to get together and support one another. We have to realize that many don't have the luxury to live life normally during and after COVID-19. But together, we can make a difference, each step of the way. Each dollar can make a huge difference in someones life, and lets make a difference together.

The Food Bank is a nonprofit organization that has provided food for people at risk of hunger in 34 counties for over 35 years. The Food Bank serves a network of more than 800 partner agencies such as soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, and programs for children and adults through distribution centers in Durham, Greenville, New Bern, Raleigh, Southern Pines and Wilmington.**
