People may not know, but chess is a great way for children of under-served communities to get out of their situation. It can allow for better educational opportunities than anything else. The funds will allow for kids in an NYC public school to be able to learn the great game of chess and further enhance their chances of getting a better life. More specifically, the money will be used for boards and pieces along with some coaching. It's my life goal to help these kids out because I went to public school and saw first hand how some of these kids struggle to get meals on their plate. I will be eternally grateful for anyone who donates or even just spreads the word.
