Cherry Collier Jackson Rise Up 4 Good Scholarship

Family, in the season of giving, I need your help! I am raising funds for my mom's annual memorial scholarship fund to support a deserving Spelman College student. Many of you know my mom died unexpectedly in 2019. Holidays are tough without the one who birthed me. No matter what happens, we can always find a reason in the season to help others. Please consider supporting the scholarship I have for my mom at Spelman. 

Her life was about framily, Spelman, and the Falcons. I know this is last minute, and I was hesitant to do anything for Christmas. I didn't put up lights, and I am not putting up a tree, but my heart knows she would want me to celebrate her life watching her beloved Falcons against the Saints while helping someone attend Spelman. When someone passes, you hope that they touched the lives of others, and for my mom, I KNOW she did. I try to console others because she touched so many with her love and food. I know she would want us to celebrate her life and help others. Thank you in advance for your help.

Cherry Collier Jackson loved Spelman College as dearly. Help her legacy bless some students and help me put something under the tree of a student that can help them forever... an education. 

Thanks to my village for your support. I feel so much love, and even when it is tough, I have so many reasons to smile. Everyone knows my mom and I were always together. My oldest sister Marci Collier Overstreet and my Aunt Jo Anna, my mom, really did favor the most (smile), and I never had a problem sharing her. She loved all of us; if you can help us remember our mom, sister, and friend and help Spelman and a student all in one, that would mean so much.

I am better because she lived. I am who I am because she loved me. I am so thankful every day. Thanks for helping me help others.-little cherry
