Supporting Chelsey-lee
Donation protected
Hi my name is robert pringle and im the proud father of Chelsey-lee pringle who is an amazing, brave and courageous young women. Some of you may or may not know that my daughter Chelsey-Lee has been bravely battling a cancerous Ewing's sarcoma tumour on her spine since 2020. Unfortunately, we received the devastating news in December 2024 that the cancer has returned for the third time, despite her undergoing chemotherapy in 2020 and 2023, as well as radiotherapy and an extensive twelve-hour operation to remove and rebuild part of her spine where she had to learn to walk again.
Throughout this challenging journey, Chelsey-Lee has shown remarkable strength and resilience. She has never complained or questioned why this is happening to her; she has simply fought to live as normal a life as possible. Sadly, her college course, which she absolutely adores, is currently on hold, along with other activities she enjoys, as she confronts this illness once again.
What I'm hoping for is your help in raising enough funds for her to have a wig that will give her the confidence to leave the house again. Custom-made wigs take around 6-8 weeks to prepare which means she will have lost her hair for the third time by then. The cost of the wigs are expensive and yes there are wonderful charities out there that do supply some wigs which she has used in the past when she was 12 but they are now not suitable for a 17yr old. As Chelsey-lee is a young adult now her appearance is everything to her like most 17yr old girls. Any other money raised will go towards making Chelsey-lee feel as comfatable as possible at hospital and at home, also we will donate money towards two charities that help so much in the ward at Southampton they are, young lives vs cancer and abbys heros. If you can donate, it would mean the world to us and her as she tries to navigate through something she hoped to put behind her. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Rob
