Donation protected
Hi Everyone!
So as some of you may already be aware myself and my good friend Chelsea Mears are travelling to Vietnam in December to volunteer in an orphanage. The orphange that we are volunteering at is called Chùa Ky Quang II, and is part of a local Buddhist temple in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). This orphanage has about 300 kids, some who are severelly deformed, others that have a variety of medical issues as well as ordinary kids who don't have parents. You may also be aware, I have family in Vietnam, and this has enabled us to organise this volunteer trip through local contacts. By doing this, we can ensure that all the proceeds we raise can go straight to the orphanage. Whilst on a day-to-day to basis, some donations are provided to the orphanage, they are in urgent need of money to provide food for the children. They solely rely on donations to care for the kids as the government does not offer any support.
Many of the kids only have each other, and are in need of some love and affection. Chelsea and I plan to assist the orphanage staff by helping them prepare food, feed and bathe the kids, play games with them and generally look after them.
Such a small amount of money goes a long way over there, and we would both really appreciate it if you could help us make a difference in their lives.
