Cheer Portland (watch our VIDEO), a proud member of the Pride Cheerleading Association, Inc., raises funds, awareness and spirits through inspiring performances and inclusive community outreach in the Portland Metro Area.

Each year Cheer Portland performs, fundraises and volunteers to benefit The Living Room, a local non-profit in our community that offers youth-led accessible programming and resources that encourage the personal growth, sense of belonging, and development of leadership skills among LGBTQIA2s+ youth and their allies.

Your generosity allows for life-saving critical services to be provided to young people experiencing homelessness and housing instability in our community.

Cheer Portland was founded in 2018, and was granted non-profit 501(c)(3) status the same year. The first tryout was held in March 2019 and our inaugural year had 13 permanent members and several periodic performers. Each year the team researches and votes for a local community non-profit that shares the same values we do: health, wellness and support for the LGBTQIA+ community. We spend our time volunteering and keeping Portland cheered. We are a member of Pride Cheerleading Association, a national organization of other similar teams nationwide.
