❤️ Help Chase & Matt become family legally ❤️

Hello. My name is Amanda. I have this amazing son Chase. He is my whole world Chase is 10 years old. Here is our back story.

I had chase in 2012. I was with his biological father for years. It didn’t work out. Once myself and his biological father had separated ways, he also stopped being a father to Chase.

It was very hard for Chase to adjust to this new normal. Unfortunately, nothing has changed in regards to his biological father. He still isn’t active and he honestly never will. However, 5 years ago, I met my husband. He is such an amazing father to Chase. Chase lacks nothing when it comes to having a father. He loves him. He cares for him. He has been and will always be the male role model Chase has longed for, for so long.

I recently discovered some underlying health concerns that stopped me right in my tracks and made me think long term in regards to who will care for chase once I am gone.

legally this would be his biological father sadly. Not only is the biological father not in the picture but he also have no means to give himself a stable home much less my son Chase.

I have spoken to a few lawyers to find the best way to go about this process.

This is what option I have.

-The biological father to terminate his rights ( which he has agreed to do)

-The biological father to sign the waiver agreeing to the decree

-File a motion for adoption

-My husband would then become the petitioner

-Biological father consents to the adoption

-Then I would have to get a guardian appoint for this report

-Go to court so judge can agree to the motion

-Get a guardian appoint for the final court date.

The grand total of this process would be $3,000.00.

this amount covers the lawyer fees which are $2,500.00 and $500.00 for the guardian appoint. I did put an extra $100 on there to cover any fees for using this outlet. 

We are not a family that has a lot of extra money but we are a family who is rich in love.
