We’re the Chases
Firstly, thank you for being here—your support during this journey means the world to us! We have been pursuing domestic infant adoption since December 2020.
A little about us: We are Winston-Salem Natives and consider this to be our forever home. We spend our days fairly simply: taking walks, cooking, eating, hiking, reading and spending time with our family, friends, and our dog, Tivy.
The reasons we have pursued adoption are twofold: we are unable to have children biologically, and we deeply desire to grow our family in love. Though we do not have any biological children, our hope is that we can create a space filled with laughter, joy, and learning.
Most importantly, we want our future child to feel unashamedly and unconditionally loved by us, their family, their community, and their birth parents.
This is a journey of much waiting, hardship, bravery and joy. If you are thinking and praying for us in this, we also ask that you consider our future child’s birth parents. Though not often highlighted, the bravery it takes to release a child is far greater than it takes to adopt one.
When we say “it takes a village”, we don’t merely mean with fundraising, but that we will rely on our community and loved ones all throughout our parenting journey.
If you’re walking alongside us for this journey, know that we are touched more deeply than we can describe.
