✈️ Skydive Fundraiser for Buddy Buddy ✈️

On Saturday 8th August, I will be taking part in a skydive to raise money for Buddy Buddy, a fantastic group run by Chesterfield Football Club Community Trust that supports veterans.

This group holds a very special place in my heart. My grandad attended Buddy Buddy, and it meant so much to him. I took him along each month, and he always looked forward to the next session. The friendships, support, and sense of belonging the group gave him were invaluable.

Buddy Buddy doesn’t just support the individuals who attend; they also provide support to families. Since losing my grandad, we have always been welcomed back with open arms. It truly feels like one big family.

Without this group, my grandad wouldn’t have met such wonderful people or had something to look forward to each month. Even on days when he wasn’t able to stay for the whole session, it still gave him a reason to get out of the house and brought him so much enjoyment.
